Founding Compliance & IT Operations Lead

About the role

Rilla is building the infrastructure to capture and index billions of real‑world sales conversations. As the founding Compliance & IT Ops lead, you will design and automate the compliance backbone and IT foundation that enable the company to scale securely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain SOC 2 compliance while driving HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001 initiatives from the ground up.
• Automate compliance workflows with AI to achieve continuous audit readiness.
• Design, implement, and manage the company’s IT foundation, including device management, network troubleshooting, and in‑person office support.
• Translate ambiguous requirements across engineering, HR, legal, and leadership into clear, tracked work.
• Execute secure employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

Required skills

• Computer science background or equivalent hands‑on technical ability.
• Fluency with AI tools and proven experience automating real work.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001) – preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
