About the role
The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring a Food Storeroom Attendant within its Purchasing department. The role covers receiving, storing and tracking food items, and involves physical inventory and paperwork.
Key responsibilities
- Unload trucks, fill orders and clean
- Keep a log of items that are out of stock, damaged or perishable
- Receive, sort and store food items properly
- Weigh and count items disbursed
- Complete paperwork and answer the phone
- Carry out physical inventory and post requisitions in the computer system
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting with knowledge of food is helpful
- Ability to communicate with guests, owners, employees and vendors, including good telephone skills
- Health Department Food Handlers Class completed
- Ability to operate a pallet jack; certification is provided if not already held
Required skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills; training is provided on software operation
- Continuous standing, walking, bending and reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds
