About the role
The Waffle Maker position supports the cafeteria at Moore Regional, preparing fresh waffles for customers during morning shifts. The role involves setting up the waffle station, serving toppings, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare waffle batter and operate the waffle maker during scheduled shifts (Mon, Wed 5 am‑11 am; Fri 5 am‑2 pm).
- Set up and restock the topping bar, ensuring a variety of options for customers.
- Clean and sanitize the waffle area and equipment between shifts to meet health‑safety standards.
- Assist other cafeteria staff as needed, including tray line service and general kitchen duties.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- Previous food‑service experience is a plus.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication abilities.
- Excellent customer‑service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend, holiday, and shift schedules.
