Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

Midtown, which owns and operates eight luxury athletic clubs across the United States and Canada, is hiring a Food and Beverage Manager for its flagship club in Chicago (2444 N Elston Ave). This is a full-time, salaried senior leadership role overseeing all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, café, bar, poolside and events, and leading both front-of-house and back-of-house operations in partnership with culinary leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve on the club's Senior Leadership Team, collaborating across departments on operations and strategic priorities.
• Own the member experience so all outlets deliver a consistent, high-quality hospitality experience.
• Lead daily F&B operations, keeping front and back-of-house efficient and aligned with Midtown standards.
• Manage revenue, expenses, labor and COGS to meet financial goals while maintaining strong guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, train, coach and develop associates and supervisors through feedback, mentorship and performance management.
• Partner with culinary leadership on offerings, SOPs and menu evolution.
• Work with marketing, events and club leadership on food and beverage experiences that drive participation.
• Oversee inventory, procurement, safety, sanitation and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing high-volume, multi-outlet food and beverage or hospitality operations.
• Experience leading teams of 40+ associates in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership and coaching skills.
• Alignment with Midtown's core values.
