Floating Maintenance Technician – East Denver Metro

About the role

Greystar is seeking a proactive Floating Maintenance Technician to support its East Denver Metro portfolio. You will ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in building or property maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and safety codes.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and documentation.
• Willingness to work onsite across multiple properties in the Denver metro area.
