Floating Service Supervisor (NOCO)

About the role

The Floating Service Supervisor ensures that all interior and exterior building components, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in accordance with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors and vendors to ensure quality, compliance with specifications and to develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, ordering supplies within budgetary guidelines.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures and support cost‑cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and respectfully to resident inquiries and complaints.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate respectfully with residents and team members.
• Commitment to safety, including knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to conduct safety meetings and maintain MSDS documentation.
