Float Registered Nurse

About the role

Join MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA as a Float Registered Nurse, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients in their homes across multiple territories.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive head‑to‑toe assessments and identify subtle changes in patient condition.
• Provide acute and post‑acute care including CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, and post‑surgical care.
• Triage and manage urgent clinical situations independently in the home setting.
• Perform medication reconciliation, patient education, and safety monitoring.
• Document wound assessments, care, and outcomes accurately.

Required profile

• Current South Carolina nursing license in good standing.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of recent hands‑on experience with adult/geriatric patients in acute, emergency, home health, hospice, ICU, med‑surg, sub‑acute, or rehab settings.

Required skills

• Acute and post‑acute care expertise (e.g., CHF, COPD).
• Wound care assessment and management.
• IV therapy administration.
• Medication reconciliation and patient teaching.
• Proficiency with point‑of‑care documentation and related technology.
