Speech Language Pathologist – Home Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to provide home health visits in Horry and Georgetown Counties, SC. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative care that enables clients to remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients within designated geographic territories.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and client goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities to promote health and independence.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Current South Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Relevant education and work experience meeting ASHA certification requirements.

Required skills

• Solid computer proficiency.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
