About the role

This full‑time float Licensed Practical Nurse position provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, across the Lake Charles region. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients, following the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.
Perform IV therapy and other clinical procedures as needed.
Assist and direct ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Adapt to rapid changes in unit needs and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

Current LPN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Required skills

IV therapy competency (preferred).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
