About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a part‑time board‑certified or board‑eligible Neonatologist to join its community Level III NICU in Lake Charles, LA. The position offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits, relocation assistance, and a signing bonus.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care in a Level III NICU.
Maintain 24/7 in‑house coverage with neonatal nurse practitioners.
Participate in the Vermont Oxford Network and system‑based quality‑improvement projects.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and Ochsner transport services for neonatal transfers.

Required profile

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neonatology.
Available for a part‑time clinical schedule.
Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana.
Commitment to quality improvement and research initiatives.
