Fitness Trainer – Group Classes (PE@PF)

About the role

The Fitness Trainer will lead Planet Fitness’s PE@PF group fitness program, helping members achieve their goals through personalized workout plans and proper equipment usage. This full‑time, on‑site position combines class instruction with front‑desk support to ensure a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Design, schedule and conduct PE@PF group classes, creating bi‑weekly exercise updates.
• Consult members on fitness goals, demonstrate safe equipment use, and develop simple workout programs.
• Promote class sign‑ups with creative marketing ideas and meet class size requirements based on club traffic.
• Assist front‑desk duties: answer phones, check‑in members, handle new‑member sign‑ups, give tours, update account information, and address member inquiries.
• Maintain club cleanliness and appearance throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.
• Passion for fitness and health, with the ability to empathize and solve problems.
• Completed fitness trainer certification.
