Fitness Specialist Sub – Senior Living Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Per Diem Fitness Specialist Sub to lead scheduled exercise classes for residents in senior living communities across Anne Arundel and Howard County. The role supports the continuum of care by promoting positive fitness levels among assisted and independent living residents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes covering flexibility, cardio, strength/power, balance and standing exercises.
• Design and develop fitness programs tailored to the senior population to improve overall health and mobility.

Required profile

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor from an accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA, SFA, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Fitness Specialist, preferably in senior services.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills for scheduling and documentation.
