Contract Prescribing NP or PA-C - Mental Health, Columbia MO

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a mental health care provider, is looking for contract nurse practitioners (NPs) or certified physician assistants (PA-Cs) in Columbia, MO. As a contract provider, you deliver evidence-based mental health care to children (ages 0-17) and adults through intake and follow-up appointments, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Patients can also be referred to therapy and coaching services alongside your care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Work with minors as well as adults, and provide culturally responsive care

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification (preference for a psychiatry certificate, fellowship or MD with a psychiatry concentration)
• Unrestricted state license with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• At least 2 years of practice
• Office space available in Columbia, MO to see clients in person
• Full-time U.S. resident
• Strong preference for an active DEA license and experience with minors
