Financial Controller – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our accounting, reporting, and financial planning functions. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting, inventory management, and supply‑chain financial oversight within a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze GAAP‑compliant financial statements and periodic reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, bill‑of‑materials analysis, inventory valuation, and reconciliation.
• Provide financial oversight for supply‑chain activities, vendor cost analysis, and procurement budgeting.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely audit deliverables.
• Administer payroll, 401(k), benefits, credit cards, and insurance compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with government grant accounting and manufacturing environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/financial software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capability.
• Inventory management and cost accounting expertise.
• Supply‑chain financial oversight and vendor cost management.
