Financial Analyst (Hybrid)

About the role

Join MAPFRE's collaborative finance team as a Financial Analyst working in a hybrid setting. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting operations, turning data into actionable business insights that guide decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts by analyzing historical trends, cost drivers, and business initiatives.
• Analyze actual financial results versus forecasts and budgets, highlighting variances, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with actionable insights for leaders and stakeholders.
• Execute accounting and reporting tasks such as journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, invoicing, and general ledger maintenance.
• Partner with Business Controllers and department heads to understand spending patterns, optimize cost allocations, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Champion continuous‑process improvement, recommend enhancements, and support automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
