Manager, Predictive Modeling (Actuarial or Data Science Track)

About the role

Mapfre Insurance is seeking a Predictive Modeling Manager to lead a team of actuaries and data scientists focused on advancing pricing strategy, predictive analytics, and business performance across its Property & Casualty portfolio. The role partners with Pricing, Product, and business leaders to create innovative modeling solutions that improve pricing precision, customer segmentation, risk assessment, retention, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of actuaries and data scientists.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Product, and business stakeholders to design and implement advanced predictive models.
• Provide thought leadership in AI, predictive analytics, and model governance.
• Ensure models meet regulatory requirements and align with evolving business needs.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in actuarial modeling, predictive analytics, or related quantitative fields.
• Proven track record leading actuarial or data‑science projects and delivering high‑quality analytical solutions.
• Experience supporting regulatory filings, model validation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Strong ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
