Financial Analyst 2

About the role

The Financial Analyst 2 provides moderate to complex financial analysis and research to support business decisions across revenue, expense, capital spending and labor cost areas. Working closely with internal partners, the analyst prepares forecasts, models and clear reports for management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct moderate to complex financial analyses on revenue, expenses, capital spending and labor cap rates.
• Retrieve and compile data from company databases and reporting systems.
• Develop financial and economic models and prepare transparent reports, graphs and presentations.
• Prepare revenue and expense forecasts, capital spending projections and budgeting scenarios.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Rates & Regulatory and Corporate Accounting for budget and forecast inputs.
• Assist regions/departments in formulating annual expense and capital budgets and input data into reporting systems.
• Identify financial options, conduct audits of financial records and resolve complex inconsistencies.
• Provide guidance to lower‑level staff and oversee P‑Card and T&E Card activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in financial analysis or accounting.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to influence internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in performing ratio, percentage and advanced statistical analyses.
• Ability to work in an office environment and travel to other offices when required.
