Financial Advisor – Client Relationship & Investment Specialist

About the role

Santander is seeking a Financial Advisor to join its Newton, MA team. In this role you will identify client financial needs, develop comprehensive investment and insurance recommendations, and deliver a high‑quality client experience while supporting the firm’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person, virtual and telephone appointments to assess client financial goals and recommend suitable investment and insurance solutions.
• Manage, retain and grow an assigned book of business through proactive relationship management and regular client reviews.
• Develop new client relationships in partnership with branch leadership and licensed bank personnel to generate referrals and new business opportunities.
• Deliver needs‑based financial planning that aligns client goals, risk tolerance and investment strategies.
• Increase assets under management and wallet share by identifying cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, FINRA, state and federal regulations.
• Complete required professional training, continuing education and licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Licensed to sell investment and insurance products and able to meet sales, revenue and asset‑growth targets.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with a client‑focused mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough financial analyses and develop comprehensive plans.
• Commitment to uphold regulatory and compliance standards.
