About the role
The State of Georgia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Financial Accounting Cashier to support fiscal operations at the West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with core accounting functions in a public‑sector environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare payroll data and assist with payroll execution.
- Monitor budget allocations and expenditures.
- Perform general accounting tasks under direct supervision.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of job‑related accounting or fiscal experience, or one year in an Accounting Technician Trainee role (FIT019) or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required professional licenses or certifications.
