Finance Service Officer

About the role

GHD is seeking a Finance Service Officer to join its Finance Services team. The role provides proactive support, handling accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Finance Services function by undertaking assigned duties in line with separation of duties guidelines.
• Assist with accounts payable, travel & expense accounting, balance‑sheet reconciliation and master data management.
• Ensure compliance with GHD finance policies, internal controls and procedures.
• Provide continuous feedback to the manager/team leader and maintain cooperative knowledge‑sharing relationships with other operating centres.
• Participate in additional tasks or projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related finance field (fresh graduates welcome).
• 1‑3 years of experience in an accounting shared‑services environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in French.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time‑management and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, travel & expense processing, balance‑sheet reconciliation and master data management.
