Finance & Intelligence Analyst – Insights Engineer II

About the role

The Finance Transformation team at Deloitte helps CFOs and finance leaders shape and execute finance and global business services strategies. As a Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II, you will conduct mission‑critical finance research, analyze client operations, and deliver actionable insights to support business and mission priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform core mission finance research using open‑source and client‑specific tools and databases.
• Analyze external client business operations, finance and banking systems, and global commercial ecosystems.
• Partner with mission teams and client stakeholders to define research needs and address priorities.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to technical and mission‑focused audiences.
• Maintain documentation of analysis methods, decisions, and outputs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• 7+ years experience in finance, banking, business operations, or related research.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and relationship‑building skills.
