Finance Director – Industrial Specialty & Mineral Products

About the role

The Finance Director for the Industrial Specialty and Industrial Mineral Products Division (ISD) will join the operating committee and act as a strategic partner to the Division President. This senior finance leader will shape financial planning, drive performance improvement, and support multi‑year growth investments across six global business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Division President and operating committee to develop and execute long‑term investment strategies.
• Provide financial analysis, ROI assessments, and business performance reviews to guide decision‑making.
• Coordinate supply‑chain, demand, and capacity planning across 30 plants to create integrated short‑, mid‑ and long‑term plans.
• Lead portfolio prioritization, new product introductions, and market/competitor analysis.
• Represent the division and the Safety Industrial and Business Group in corporate initiatives.
• Develop finance talent and ensure ethical, legal compliance in all activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance leadership within industrial, manufacturing, or similar complex environments.
• Proven track record of strategic financial planning, investment analysis, and performance management.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior executives and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with customers, channel partners, and external stakeholders.
