Field Service Representative

About the role

CACI is seeking a Field Service Representative to maintain various PEO Soldier systems at Fort Benning, GA. The role involves working with military customers, performing site surveys and installations, and providing hands-on instruction. It is a full-time position requiring up to 50% travel across the continental United States, with a minimum Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with military customers to understand their operational needs and the issues to be resolved.
• Manage time to respond to service calls in a timely way.
• Complete site surveys, system installations, troubleshooting procedures and operational checks.
• Perform small-scale moves, additions and changes to client equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they occur.
• Provide classroom instruction and practical, hands-on instruction in an operational environment.
• Provide basic system administration training to technical users.

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance.
• Prior military experience (Ranger qualified or 18 Series preferred).
• Completed Military Instructor Course or equivalent.
• Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years of related work experience.
• Civilian driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% (CONUS) between OCONUS home base and training locations.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work with customers and OEM vendors.
• Physically able to deploy and carry out the required physical actions.

Required skills

• Experience installing, repairing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Advanced knowledge of firearms, night vision/thermal and communications equipment, typically gained through advanced education and experience.
