Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technology

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and providing on‑site sales consultations. You will be the face of the brand, delivering reliable installations while identifying opportunities to upgrade customers’ systems for greater safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on how to operate their new smart home system.
• Maintain and manage all tools, company vehicle, and mobile devices required for the job.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during every appointment.

Required profile

• Sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales (preferred).
• Customer‑first attitude, acting with integrity and building rapport with diverse clients.
• Technical aptitude; experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful.

Required skills
