Smart Home Sales Technician – Field Service

About the role

The Smart Home Sales Technician combines consultative sales, smart‑home expertise and hands‑on service to help customers create safer, more connected homes. You will meet customers in their homes, retail locations and events, recommend solutions, and support the full lifecycle from consultation through installation and ongoing service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers in their homes, retail locations and events to discuss smart‑home solutions.
• Recommend personalized security, automation and energy‑management products.
• Generate leads, follow up prospects and close sales.
• Install, service and troubleshoot Vivint smart‑home equipment.
• Educate customers on system operation and provide ongoing support.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Sales mindset with proven ability to build trust and close deals.
• Comfortable learning and using smart‑home technology.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and licensing checks.

Required skills

• Smart‑home equipment installation.
• Smart‑home system troubleshooting.
