Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs cutting‑edge smart home technology and helps customers upgrade their systems for safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks and home automation systems.
• Assess each residence on‑site and recommend or sell equipment upgrades and service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on how to operate their new smart home devices.
• Conduct a safety analysis for every job to ensure a secure work environment.

Required profile

• Sales mindset with experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or similar service‑based roles.
• Customer‑first attitude, integrity and strong rapport‑building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to use a company vehicle.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, work in attics and endure varying weather conditions.
