Field Service Professional – Smart Home Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the front‑line expert who installs and maintains cutting‑edge smart home technology. You will combine technical expertise with a consultative sales approach to deliver safe, connected homes for our customers in Hendersonville, TN.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and best practices for safety.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Reliability and integrity when representing the brand in customers’ homes.

Required skills

• Security camera installation
• Smart lock installation
• Home automation system installation and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of cable/satellite or similar installation work
