Field Service Professional – Smart Home Solutions

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in connected home technology, as a Field Service Professional in Midland, TX. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart home devices while identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Assess each home on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services that meet the customer’s safety and convenience needs.
• Educate homeowners on system operation, ensuring they feel confident using their new technology.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any issues to the support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑first attitude with the ability to build rapport and act with integrity.
• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow through ongoing coaching and leadership training.
