Field Sales Representative - Surgical Technologies

About the role

Stryker is hiring a field-based Sales Representative in Provo, UT for its Surgical Technologies portfolio. You will promote, position and sell the products to physicians, surgeons and healthcare providers across your territory, lead product evaluations and support procedures in operating rooms and office settings, and act as a trusted clinical and product resource for your customers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Surgical Technologies products while meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Conduct product evaluations and demonstrations in clinical and procedural environments.
• Support surgical procedures with on-site product expertise, guidance and troubleshooting.
• Build relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, healthcare administrators and purchasing teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts in the territory.
• Educate customers on product features, clinical applications and economic value through in-services and training programs.
• Track sales activity, customer interactions and territory performance using approved business tools and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to develop territory plans and growth strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quota-carrying outside sales experience in medical device, healthcare or consultative sales, or equivalent experience in a high-performance environment with interest in sales.
• Or at least 5 years of professional outside sales, B2B or territory-based selling experience with a record of achieving performance goals.
• Ability to provide in-person support during product evaluations and procedures in clinical environments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory, including customer sites and healthcare facilities.
• Preferred: experience in medical device, surgical or procedural sales, selling capital equipment or consumables, and calling on hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers and physician offices.
