Field Account Manager - Redi Carpet (Dallas/Fort Worth)

About the role

Redi Carpet is looking for a Field Account Manager to own a high-potential territory across Dallas and surrounding communities. The role involves building lasting relationships with property managers, owners and multifamily communities, driving new business growth and exceeding sales and profit targets. The position is based in Dallas or Fort Worth, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sales and marketing programs and set short- and long-term sales strategies to exceed sales and profit targets.
• Secure profitable new accounts through industry research, networking and proactive prospecting.
• Manage sales and customer retention initiatives, and oversee planning, forecasting and reporting of sales activities and competitive pricing tactics.
• Create a strategic sales call schedule and visit customers face-to-face, handling objections and promoting value-added solutions.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified accounts using the company's CRM tool, and use cold calling to grow territory accounts.
• Use Salesforce reporting and data analysis to spot growth opportunities, and review the customer portfolio to act on underperforming accounts.
• Collaborate with inside sales and keep up-to-date with industry products and specialized services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; typically 5-8 years of experience, or 3-5 years with a master's degree.
• Preferred: business-to-business sales experience, including consultative or solution-based selling, and multifamily experience.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); the company runs an MVR check and the driver must operate a company or personal vehicle more than 50% of the average work week.
