Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas‑Houston Branch is seeking a self‑motivated Law Enforcement Officer to provide basic police duties, ensure a safe environment, and mitigate physical security risks.

Key responsibilities

• Screen personnel, vehicles, packages and parcels using x‑ray, metal detection, visual inspection and other security technologies.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to medical emergencies with first aid, CPR and AED.
• Identify and report security breaches, health and safety incidents, and enforce access control policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 30 college hours or equivalent military/law‑enforcement experience; high school diploma or GED.
• Age 21+, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass comprehensive background investigation.
• Successful completion of Basic Law Enforcement Course and ongoing FRLEO training and weapons qualification.

Required skills

• Operation of x‑ray, chemical/bio, metal detection, CCTV and other security equipment.
• First aid, CPR and AED certification.
• Computer proficiency with automated systems, email and MS Office applications.
