Family Practice Physician – Locum Tenens, up to $140/hr

About the role
We are seeking a Board‑Certified Family Practice Physician for a six‑month locum tenens assignment in Southport, North Carolina. The position starts as soon as credentialing is completed and offers a flexible, full‑time schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a daily patient volume of up to 24 patients, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
- Deliver on‑site clinical services and, when needed, support additional clinic coverage with advance notice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes APPs, PAs, and other physicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and licensing requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in Family Practice.
- Active medical license in North Carolina.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Ability to commute to Southport, NC, and work on‑site.
