About the role

The Southern Regional Technical College is seeking a Faculty member in Drafting Technology to deliver industry‑relevant instruction and support student success. Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain course outlines, syllabi and lesson plans aligned with state standards and accreditation requirements.
• Deliver instruction using innovative teaching methods and instructional technologies within scheduled class time.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and academic records.
• Coordinate experiential learning components such as labs, practicums, simulations and internships, ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage instructional supplies, tools and equipment, and prepare budget requests as needed.
• Maintain program, licensure and industry certification requirements and ensure laboratory safety compliance.
• Provide academic and career advising to students regarding pathways and employment opportunities.

Required profile

• Relevant academic degree in Drafting Technology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching technical courses at the post‑secondary level.
• Knowledge of state board policies, accreditation standards and college curriculum development.
• Ability to supervise experiential learning activities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, faculty and staff.
