Part‑Time Mechanical Instructor – Training Lab

About the role

The Part‑Time Mechanical Instructor will support the development and delivery of technical training in our lab, helping technicians improve their skills and production solutions. This temporary position focuses on creating and maintaining a high‑quality training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train and instruct current technicians on technical capabilities and production solutions.
• Develop, support, troubleshoot, improve, and maintain technical training lab equipment.
• Create and participate in new training curricula to meet evolving training demands.
• Provide backup training support for other sessions when needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of mechanical/machinist experience or a two‑year technical degree preferred.
• Ability to instruct multiple curricula for class sessions of 12+ attendees.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement remedies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Commitment to lab and plant safety and 5S standards.
