Facilities Set-Up

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring for a Facilities Set-Up position. The role covers guest interaction, ordering, cleaning and clerical tasks, and involves preparing meeting rooms and event setups. It is a regular position with day and night shifts, and shift times and days off vary depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and remove meeting room sets, including clothing, skirting and chairing tables
• Set up water stations, note pads and pencils
• Make changes to room sets on short notice and move pianos
• Set up staging and place easels
• Meet group contacts and distribute information about set-ups
• Communicate via two-way radio and store equipment properly
• Maintain equipment and work safely

Required profile

• Hospitality experience preferred
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Able to work independently and handle public contact
• Strong communication skills, professional and polite, takes direction easily
• Valid driver's license

• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of measurement and good mathematical skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Physical ability to lift up to 41 lbs and stand or sit for long periods
