Facilities Engineer – Sturgis, MI

About the role

The Facilities Engineer provides engineering support for all aspects of the Sturgis, MI plant infrastructure. You will work on mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring reliable operation of HVAC, roofs, floors, drains, utilities and fire‑protection equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in development, planning and execution of plant‑related facility engineering activities.
• Analyze system failures to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate system conditions and develop long‑term obsolescence and sustainability plans.
• Apply engineering knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
• Plan and conduct small‑ to medium‑sized projects, including detailed planning, budgeting, implementation, validation and release to production.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of engineering disciplines applied to facility systems.
• Ability to independently conceive and develop problem‑solving approaches.
• Experience managing project timelines, budgets and stakeholder reviews.
