Expert CNO Developer

About the role

MANTECH is seeking an Expert CNO Developer to lead the creation of mission‑critical cyber capabilities for national security agencies. This full‑time onsite position in Hanover, MD, requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute software test plans for advanced Computer Network Operations.
• Develop scripts using Python, Perl, VBScript, or Unix shell to automate testing and deployment.
• Install and configure network security devices such as firewalls and IDS.
• Lead engineering teams in evaluating and integrating CNO solutions.
• Replicate real‑world network and system scenarios in a lab environment.

Required profile

• BS in a technical discipline with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and ability to obtain a new polygraph if needed.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and debugging complex systems across platforms.

Required skills

• Python and C/C++ programming.
• Perl, VBScript, Unix shell scripting.
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP) and socket‑level programming.
• Low‑level system internals on Windows, Unix, mobile or network devices.
• Experience with Ansible, ELK/SPLUNK, NiFi, VMware, traffic generation tools, and network device commands.
