Experienced RN – OB Emergency Department

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to staff the specialized Obstetrics Emergency Department within Hillcrest Hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit. This night shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) includes on‑call duties and occasional weekend/holiday rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pregnant patients presenting with emergencies.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans in collaboration with OB/GYN practitioners.
• Document and communicate patient conditions, administer medications, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge needs, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
