Executive Director, Trade & Working Capital

About the role

The Executive Director, Trade & Working Capital will support GTB marketing officers in origination, deal negotiation, execution and account management, focusing on structured trade and export finance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, pitches and presentations for transaction origination.
• Lead client management, update offerings, follow up on facilities and produce internal reports.
• Interface with Middle Office, LC department, Compliance, Risk and Legal to ensure effective deal management.
• Develop internal relationships with credit, legal, compliance and operations to get GTB deals booked.
• Establish procedures for new transactions.

Required profile

• 12+ years of product development, business development or related experience.
• Superior knowledge of commercial banking products, trade finance services and related regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and build professional relationships.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and program/project management skills.
• High ethical standards, self‑starter attitude and strategic planning capability.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Knowledge of documentary trade rules (UCP, ISP, URDG) and Uniform Commercial Code Art. 5.
• Certificate of Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) – a plus.
