CIB Markets Analyst – Emerging Markets & Foreign Exchange Institutional Sales

About the role

The Markets Analyst supports the CIB Markets sales team, working across fixed income and foreign exchange products in emerging and developed markets. You will collaborate with various areas of the business to develop client relationships and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the Sales team in daily commercial activities, including client relationship development and new business identification.
• Respond to pricing inquiries, assist in transaction execution, monitor trade activity, and ensure timely follow‑up on client requests.
• Coordinate client meetings, investor roadshows, and commercial initiatives, handling agenda preparation, logistics, and post‑meeting tracking.
• Oversee accurate booking of transactions, review trade confirmations, monitor daily P&L, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory controls.
• Monitor transaction lifecycle processes such as reconciliation, clearing, and settlement to maintain operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and contribute to automated solutions that reduce manual effort and operational risk.
