About the role
The Equipment Logistics Technician I works the night shift (8:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.) at Hillcrest Hospital, supporting the Clinical Engineering Asset Management‑Operations department. The role ensures medical devices and equipment are clean, functional, and available where needed.
Key responsibilities
- Perform target rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution.
- Clean, deliver, evaluate, and inspect medical devices such as infusion pumps, specialty beds, carts, and procedural trays.
- Document all activities in an electronic database.
- Order supplies, stock patient rooms, and deploy supplies to units and departments.
Required profile
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Hospital or logistics experience.
- Physical ability to move/transport items and equipment weighing up to 100 lb.
Required skills
- Ability to operate a computer and electronic database.
- Ability to operate emergency equipment and cleaning equipment.
