Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) - Part-Time

Experience Senior Living is looking for a part-time Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeper) to join its team in Naples. The company describes itself as a group of professionals dedicated to helping older adults live life to the fullest, and the role covers cleaning and laundry duties in public areas and residents' apartments.

Key responsibilities

• Clean public areas and residents' apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios and windows, floors, furniture and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as distributing laundered linens, replacing and hanging drapes, changing beds, cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors, dusting, polishing metalwork and washing walls, woodwork, windows and door panels.
• Handle laundry: wash, dry and iron resident laundry and community linens in provided appliances, fold or hang them, distribute laundered items, replace drapes and change beds.
• Maintain resident laundry areas by mopping floors and washing walls regularly.
• Wash windows at reasonable heights as requested and keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly.
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies, stock the cleaning cart, empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area.
• Work with maintenance to keep trash and dumpster areas clean, complete maintenance work orders and report resident issues, health or living-status changes and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Ability to connect with residents and help them transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement.
• Arrives on time with minimal absence and tardiness; appearance is neat and follows the dress code.
• Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
• Able to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays.
