Vice President, Resident Experience

About the role

Experience Senior Living is looking for a Vice President of Resident Experience in Denver. The role provides enterprise-wide leadership and strategic direction for the resident experience across the portfolio, covering resident engagement, lifestyle programming, transportation, family and community connection and other elements of the resident journey. It works closely with Operations, Memory Care, Health & Wellness, Culinary, Sales & Marketing and community leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior subject-matter leader for resident experience, setting portfolio-wide Experience Standards and championing personalized, holistic well-being.
• Develop strategies for choice, independence, purpose, connection, personal growth and belonging, including daily engagement, events, outings, transportation, volunteering, intergenerational experiences and lifelong learning.
• Partner with Health & Wellness and Memory Care leadership so standards fit each level of care and ability, and work with the VP of Memory Care on adapting standards for cognitive change.
• Establish measures of resident experience and engagement, using resident and family feedback, data and community observations to drive continuous improvement.
• Build leadership competencies, coach Resident Experience leaders, set succession plans and create an internal pipeline of future leaders.
• Evaluate and optimize resident engagement platforms and technologies, and develop scalable signature experiences.
• Advise on resident experience during new community planning and design, and partner with Sales & Marketing to communicate the resident experience philosophy.
