Environmental Health & Safety Specialist – Data Collector

About the role
This position is responsible for ensuring safe operation of laser and other hardware systems within a high‑security environment. The specialist will conduct daily safety tests, maintain compliance records, and support strict EH&S policies.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily laser safety tests using approved EH&S checklists.
- Maintain accurate testing logs and compliance documentation.
- Monitor hardware systems to verify safe operation.
- Identify, document, and escalate safety risks or equipment issues.
- Enforce no‑phone and other security policies in controlled zones.
- Support adherence to standard operating procedures and EH&S standards.
Required profile
- Graduate degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in safety, laboratory, or technical operations.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards, preferably OSHA.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
- Willingness to work rotational or overlapping shifts.
- Commitment to confidentiality and strict safety protocols.
