Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Compliance Specialist

About the role

Moog is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance Specialist to lead EHS programs across two manufacturing sites in Highland Heights, OH and Johnson City, TN. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement while supporting site‑specific operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage EHS programs at both locations, ensuring adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.
• Develop, deliver, and track EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data to support compliance reporting and performance metrics.
• Conduct waste management, hazardous material transportation oversight, and hazard identification assessments.
• Perform gap assessments, corrective actions, and support ISO 9001/AS9100 initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing EHS experience.
• Strong communication, training, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Articulate or similar training tool
• ISO 9001 and AS9100 knowledge
• CHMM, CSP, ASP certifications (preferred)
• Waste management and hazardous materials handling
