Entry Level Traveling Ophthalmic Technician

About the role

Join Austin Retina Associates as an Entry Level Traveling Ophthalmic Technician and provide compassionate care across multiple Texas locations, including Georgetown, Killeen, Temple, Liberty Hill, Granger, and Waco. No prior ophthalmic experience is required – comprehensive training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients during triage, gather medical histories, and perform vision testing and imaging.
• Prepare exam rooms, document clinical notes, and support physicians during treatments and procedures.
• Travel between clinic sites using company transportation and share driving responsibilities as needed.

Required profile

• Dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
