Entry Level Maintenance Apprentice

About the role

We are looking for an Entry Level Maintenance Apprentice to support the repair and upkeep of CNC and router equipment. You will work alongside experienced technicians to ensure planned maintenance (PM) procedures are completed accurately and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC/Router machines and their controls.
• Diagnose and fix electronic, electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace, repair, calibrate mechanical components such as ball screws, gearboxes, linear guides and spindles.
• Follow machine tool manuals, technical documents and vendor resources to research problems.
• Perform testing, benchmarking and documentation of PM activities.
• Act as the first escalation point for related work items.
• Train, mentor and coach new and current employees.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting electronic, electrical or mechanical systems (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb, bend and work at elevated heights.
• Valid driver’s license.
