Packaging Coordinator – 12hr Days

About the role

The Packaging Coordinator ensures smooth workflow across all packaging systems in the West Henrietta facility. This full‑time, 12‑hour day position supports production targets, equipment reliability and customer service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor packaging department service levels, OEE and yield metrics.
• Motivate, train and develop team members, providing regular performance feedback.
• Investigate equipment, material or process issues and communicate resolutions to minimize disruption.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for non‑conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Support Lean initiatives, 5S standards and cost‑saving activities.
• Oversee accurate location transfers and ensure proper documentation for new products and processes.
• Conduct shift handovers and act as point of contact in the supervisor’s absence.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate degree in Business Management, Engineering or Manufacturing Technology preferred.
• Previous warehouse/distribution experience in a lead role with strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mandatory Saturdays and holidays.

Required skills

• PC literacy.
• Proficiency with packaging software applications and adherence to SOPs/WIs.
