Document Control Specialist – Fixed Term Contractor

About the role

CooperVision is seeking a Document Control Specialist on a fixed‑term contract to support its Quality Management System. The role focuses on QA review of change control elements, SOP and work instruction management, and document oversight for both local and global departments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute QA review activities for change control orders, revisions, and deviations across assigned departments.
• Revise, create, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and other controlled documents in collaboration with process owners.
• Utilize the Agile electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) to process documents, obtain approvals, and support training.
• Manage training positions and roles in Agile, and provide QA oversight for service non‑conformances.
• Assist with investigations of Quality Feedback (QFB), Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR), and corrective actions.
• Generate status updates, monthly reports, and communicate information between departments and QA leadership.

Required profile

• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Available for full‑time onsite work (5 days per week) in Victor, NY.

Required skills

• Experience with Agile eQMS for document control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO quality guidelines.
