English Instructor – Full‑time Faculty Position

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a full‑time English Instructor to join its Hall County Campus. The role involves delivering credited English courses, developing curriculum, and supporting student success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives; prepare lesson plans for English courses.
• Evaluate student progress, maintain classroom safety, and manage administrative duties such as scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Participate in student recruitment and retention activities and collaborate with faculty and staff on instructional matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, supervise diverse students, and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication skills for teaching at various competency levels.
